Description of approved work: proposal includes a new concrete retaining wall that will replace a failing retailing wall that runs along the front yard property line of the subject property. The subject property is located in the sr-1a special development pattern residential zoning district. Construction shall meet all zoning ordinance requirements, and the applicant will coordinate with all city departments for applicable approvals and permits. Project details: replacement of a failing retaining wall that runs along the front yard property line of the subject property with a new concrete retaining wall. The proposed retaining wall is in roughly the same location as the existing retaining wall, and will have approximately the same dimensions. Materials: concrete (see attached plans). Texture and materials of the new wall will match the existing wall to the greatest extent possible.
