Work will take place on woodway lane nw (3 test soil borings), 49th street nw (3 test sol borings), glenbrook road nw (3 test soil borings), rockwood pkwy nw (14 test soil borngs) and nebraska avenue nw ( test soil boring) to a depth of five feet below existing grade using hollow stem augers (of about eight inches in diameter). Spt samples will be obtained at selected depth intervals. The boreholes will be backfilled with bentonite slurry (2 ibs of bentonite to 1 gallon of water) upon completion. The total numbers of test soil borings twenty-four. The investigation derived waster (idw) will stored in 55-gallon drums and will tested and disposed off the by a licensed waster hauler as per work plans report, site plans, dc well construction application and dc well schematic form, for district of columbia-water and sewer authority.
