All work will adhere to all dc guideslines, standards and specifications. Trenching operations shall be conducted so as to avoid injury to tree trunks, branches, and roots. Excavations within limits of tree root spread shall proceed with care either by use of hand tools or with equipment that will not cause tree root damage.
