The scope of work for this project will consist of performing a total of 1 geotechnical boring in public space. The boring will be performed on the side walk at the northeast corner of the intersection of g street, nw and 3rd street, nw. The boring will be advanced utilizing hollow stem augers and will create an approximate 6?? Hole to a depth of feet below the existing ground surface. Prior to starting work, miss utility will be contacted to mark existing utilities in the area and we will also utilize a private utility locator to mark any private utilities. After utility marking, an auger drill rig will be mobilized to the site (dimensions of approximately 8Æ wide by 10Æ long) to drill the borings. Pedestrian/vehicular traffic control will be set up in general accordance with the ddot approved traffic control plans (tcp). The work will be performed during normal business hours of 7 am to 4 pm.
