Complaint received: this property just started a new business that is producing extremely high noise levels, 7 days a week, day and evening hours. Previously used as a holding area for leased vehicles, this property is now operating as wts treatment and disposal facility with residential homes a block or less away. They have constant traffic of commercial trucks that process their loads for an hour or so each. This process involves uncomfortably loud pumps extracting and processing liquids, rocks, etc. This work is performed 7 days a week; it is not uncommon for the machinery to be running at 11pm on a sunday. We are unable to concentrate on work, relax or even hold a phone conversation at the height of the noise level. This location is completely inappropriate for this type of business. To give you an example of the noise, it sounds like a shop vac a foot away sucking up rocks. The noise varies. It is loudest when they are servicing a customer. On a busy day, there is no relief.
