Six (6) soil borings are proposed to evaluate the subsurface conditions at the site. F&r will advance the soil borings to a depth of feet or auger refusal, whichever occurs first, utilizing hollow stem augers (hsa) drilling techniques. 3. 25 id hsa with an outer diameter of approximately 8 inches will be used. During the advancement of the borings, split spoon soil samples will be collected at every two feet in the upper ten feet and every five feet on-center thereafter. At each work area, the turf around the test boring will be protected with nps approved plastic matting. The matting will protect the underlying turf from tearing and abrasion while allowing light to the grass below. The test borings are scheduled to a depth of feet.
