I am under contract to purchase this house but would like to be able to add a pool to the property. I had a pool builder come out and look at the back yard and said that the oak just over the fence on the east side of the property could prevent it depending on if it is a grand oak or not. The address of the property with the oak is 6807 s dauphin ave. There is a smaller oak in the yard that i would like an opinion on if that can be removed. I would like a decision by the end of tuesday because if a pool cannot be added i am going to backout of the the purchase of this property. My 3 main questions are: 1 - is the oak on the adjoining property (east side) a grand oak or regular oak and what kind of set back would the pool require? 2 - would this city allow the removal of this oak? 3 - there is an oak on the property i am purchasing. What kind of pool set back would that require and could that tree be removed?
