I was called out at 4: am saturday august 2, 2014 to 64 moody ave for a car in an accessory building at that address. The building is a metal frame, metal skinned residential garage with a workshop in the rear. The damage was confined to the garage doors and garage door frames at the front of the building. There was no damage to the structural elements of the building, and no damage to the electrical service equipment, electrical distribution panel or building wiring. The damage was not sufficient to post the building as unsafe, and the owner was advised to hire a contractor and procure a building permit to effect repairs when the city of asheville development services department opens on monday august 4.
