As a registered architect and current owner since june, 2012, i maintain that, other than maintenance, no work has been performed on any exterior surface of the property. In response to vcc notice of violation dated 2/11/2016 and pursuant to my review with vcc representative erin vogt on 3/4/2016, i respectfully request the approval of the following: 1) retain existing skylights which were replaced by previous owner in 2001 to comply with 1/27/1992 permit wherein five domed skylights were replaced instead of three. 2) retain existing corrugated metal roof on the accessory building documented in 6/28/2001 application noting replacement of silver coating. 3) retain condition of existing shutters and headers as per approved 6/16/2011 permit. These have been maintained in accordance with such and there is no deterioration. 4) all plant growth has been removed from parapet of the building. 5) retain existing french doors on front facade of the building. Retain five (5) skylights installed on rear roof slope of main building,retain corrugated metal roofing on kitchen structure,retain rusticated stucco and paint; finishes must remain watertight, with no vegetation growth or deterioration allowed to occur. Stucco and paint must be inspected and maintained annually. Existing metal doors are not compliant with vcc design guidelines and are not included in the scope of this permit. This permit is being issued retroactively for work completed without prior vcc review or approval.
