Residential alteration Date: January 31, 2008Permit type: Residential building | Permit status: Complete | Permit id: Bld-08-0315701 | |||||
Neighbor has two laurel oaks planted at property line. The larger tree has dropped (2) large limbs onto my property that have damaged my carport/garage and deck. This is the second incident where my carport/garage has suffered serious damage due to his trees (first incident occurred under different home owner.) in addition to structure damage, my concrete driveway has been upheaved by tree roots and had to be replaced and now the replaced drive is also starting to upheave. There is a second, smaller, tree which has its entire canopy hanging over my carport/garage and has an odd bend in its single limb. I am concerned that this tree will fail and totally demolish my carport/garage, or that the larger tree will shed more limbs which could, in turn, cause the second tree to come down on my carport/garage. In addition, if the large tree does suffer further limb loss, it could do very serious damage to my home or my neighbors home.
