Aecom on behalf of pepco, will be collecting sediment samples in the anacosita river under the direction of ddoe (contact richard jackson). Sediment sampling will be conducted in accordance with permits issued by us army corps of engineers (usace), national park service (nps), and ddoe. A temporary sediment sample process and staging area will be required along the shoreline. Kingman island park on the attached figure has been identified as the most feasible location. This serves as an application for the construction of the temporary staging area.
