Fire damage repair, no change to structure: trade permites separate 4 17 08 permit info building and electrical and plumbing permits required to repair fire damage. No plans required if repair is as originally built without any changes. Plans required all changes. Repair per dang. Building inspection and 1&2 family code. Smoke water damage through out. No structural damage to support members, but most if not all wall and ceiling coverings will be replaced. Scrape and seal all fire smoke damaged members not removed by demolition. Provide fire blocking per code in all opened wall areas. Remove all smoke damaged insulation and replace wall insulation with r-15, and flat attic area with r-38. Windows to be cl65, doors cl54. Egress windows being replaced that do not meet the minimum opening requirements must maintain the opening area of the original windows if the window opening is not being enlarged.
