Replace gas service 5613 eads st ne between 56th st ne and 57th st ne., permit#1501 attached sketch condition of permit. All street trees within the limits of work must be protected as per district department of transportation standard specifications for highways and structures section 611. All utility work shall be conducted so as to avoid injury to tree trunks, branches, and roots. Any work within radial feet of the tree trunk must be accomplished by insertion or molling; no trenching (direct bury) is allowed within this distance without ufa permission. If work cannot be completed by insertion or molling then the permit holder must suspend all work and immediately notify michael chuko, ward 7 arborist at 202-497-0061 to receive clearance to continue the work. If a street tree is to be removed, a public space permit will be required and compensation is based on the size (diameter) of the tree.
