At rear dependency building: repoint st. Louis-side masonry wall as needed, using vcc mortar formula (attached). Remove and reset bricks as needed. Any required replacement bricks to match existing in size, color, porosity and profile. Remove existing mortar using hand chisel or mortar saw only. Mechanical grinders are not permitted;premixed mortar is not permitted. Vcc mortar formula should range in color from white to beige but should not be grey in color. Note: ratio of portland cement not to exceed 1:12.

To address graffiti and other damage by repairing brick as necessary by tuck-pointing, using the vcc standard soft mortar mix with no more than 1 part portland cement, 3 parts lime, 9 parts sand & enough water to form a workable mix; and replacing damaged brick as necessary to match existing. Prepackaged mixes are not permitted, as quality control is not consistent.

-to remove graffiti utilizing "taganator" graffiti removal product from 1 x 1 test patch.-applicant will contact vcc upon completion to inspect results.

-perform a test utilizing "bare brick stone & masonry graffiti remover" to remove graffiti from masonry wall
