Repair two deteriorating chimneys. Repoint chimneys with deteriorating mortar and inappropriate caulking in mortar. Remove existing mortar with hand tools narrower than the joint. Replacement mortar will be compatible with historic masonry and original mortar mix and will match historic mortar joints in color texture joint size profile and hardness. Remove chimney caps and brick piers holding chimney caps. Chimneys caps will be coated with a cement crown wash. Install terra cotta lue tiles at the top of each flue and install crown mount flue cap. All work to be completed per plans in chap files. Work done to code
