Mr. Gruder will be cutting a 7-4" opening in an existing interior load-bearing wall the options for the header are a triple member 2x or a doubled 2x12 with 1/2" plywood flitch plated depending on the thickness of the existing wall. Each end of the header shall be supported by doubled jackstuds. The framing needs to be inspected and approvedby the building inspector before the wall finishes are applied.
