SCORE 79 On behalf of cox, graae, & spack architects and the washington canoe club, aecom is requesting the district department of energy and the environments (doees) authorization to drill four geotechnical borings at the washington canoe club located at 37 water street nw, washington dc. The soil borings will be drilled up to feet bgs or refusal (whichever comes first), using hollow stem auger drilling methods. Standard penetration test (spt) samples will be collected at specific intervals. The borings will be protected and remain open for 24-hour groundwater level readings. The borings will be backfilled with soil spoils upon completion. No permanent monitoring wells will be installed. See attached memorandum, schematic and site plan for additional details.
