Complaint received: tree and vegetation problems. The neighbor completely neglects their yard - to the point that their black locusts, blackberry bushes and ivy are overtaking the back portion of our yard. More significantly, they have 8 cottonwood trees, several of which pose a real threat to our property and our neighbors property. Ive attached a copy of an arborists report (chad honl) certifying the threat. I have contacted the neighbors in question on two separate occasion through a hand delivered letter and a letter delivered via usps. The letters requested that they address the situation in their yard. The did not respond to either letters. It is my hope that the city of portland will contact the residents at 3407 ne rosa parks way and ask them to take immediate action to cut contain their yard and remove deadwood.
