Advancement of one (1) soil boring down to bedrock depth (approximately 48 feet bgs) and installing a monitoring well in the soil boring. The soil boring diameter will be 4. 25 inches and the drilling method is dual hollow-stem auger (has) and direct push technology (dtp). Soil samples collect in acetate liners from dpt drilling will be sent to the laboratory for analysis of vocs. After the monitoring well is installed and developed, a groundwater sample will be collected from the well and sent to the laboratory for analysis of vocs. Soil cuttings generate during the soil boring drilling will be sent to a different laboratory to perform a bench-scale test. Additional groundwater purged from the newly installed monitoring well will be sent to the bench-scale testing laboratory. No chemical injection will be conducted during the initial phase of this work.
