No work will be performed to buildings or utilities as part of this project. The total limits of disturbance are less than 5,0 square feet. The purpose of this project is to improve drainage and repave an existing roadway, defense blvd. Located on the joint base anacostia-bolling federal facility. Roadway improvements include milling the existing asphalt surface, removing the existing curb and replacing with new asphalt and curb. The slope of the road is being altered by raising the grade of certain parts of the road to improve cross slope. The existing base aggregate will be left in place undisturbed. Any change of grade will be accomplished by adding stone aggregate on top of existing aggregate. The road will then be repaved. Small areas of disturbance are involved in installation of new curb, addition of curb cuts and modification of ada ramps.
