Approval of historic resource review for alterations to a non-original front porch on the mary l cook eschricht hoyt house, a colonial revival-style house built in 1899 which is a contributing resource in the irvington historic district that includes the following: remove two non-historic quarry tile front porch steps and the non-historic quarry tile front porch floor; replace these removed elements with a new smooth concrete slab at the porch floor, inside the existing brick edging which will remain in place; add a pair of new brick-edged, concrete-filled steps up to the front door; and the brick edging at the steps would be curved at the outer corners and banded with vertical bricks to match the existing design of the lower steps that are remaining in place.
