Owner is building unattached carport at the end of driveway where old garage was 4x4 treaded post 2x8 rafters 5/8 sheeting and 3 ton shingles directions: haywood rd heading west left on lanvale house on right; zoning disapproved. Finally have a zoning permit as of this week. I have talked with our building safety folks. I have seen pictures of the site. There is no doubt what so ever what was built will have to be moved. Knowing that, mr. Mims (contractor) has confirmed he can move the entire structure over 4 so the right side of the carport will be slam up against an existing tree. So i now think this project may qualify for a 2 flex. If not, proceed to the boa. The property owner, coppedge really needs to have a pre-boa application mtg.
