Current unfinished basement has all electrical run through conduit; planning on framing up new walls and finishing part of the basement. In order to frame up walls, i will need to move some of the existing conduit. When the walls are up, i will use the existing circuits to put in the outlets and lights. I am planning on outlets and three two-way light switches. Date: December 27, 2012Permit type: Electrical residential existing | Permit status: Issued | Permit id: Elc-12-12213 | |||||
SCORE 100 Need to add four circuits for outlets in the basement as the existing circuit was intended for an unfinished basement. Will be using 12-2 romex for all wiring. One 20a circuit to the laundry area outlets. One dedicated 20a circuit to the living area. Two 15a circuits for the office, living area, and entry. SCORE 100 We are putting up non-structural, non-load bearing, walls to separate a storage area and laundry area from the rest of the basement. Will only be putting in flooring and ceiling in half of the basement. The laundry and storage area will be left unfinished for easy access to most plumbing, electrical, and hvac equipment in case it ever needs to be switched out. The plan is to start framing up the walls and have them completed by january 2013. At that point, well have someone run electrical for the wall outlets, ceiling lights, and switches before the drywall is put up.
