Complaint received: 18 nw 3rd: tube night club is too loud as the music and noise is penetrating through earplugs and has waken me from my sleep. It can be a party club but it doesnt need to carry into the streets and affect us neighbors especially when we have to get up early for work.

Complaint received: referral from fmo: this is a multi-family apartment with an old-time history of having been a bordello. Nothing in tracs to indicate it had ever been anything other than apartments in basic nature. The attached inspection report may give you a bit more of the flavor but does not mention the incorrectly mounted smoke alarm on the third floor near the stage that is in front of the fire escape access windows. The units in general are very small (old sro style) and have zero fire separation. There are no sprinklers above the basement level. There is no alarm system present including the old manual pull system. Smoke detection is provided as single-station battery powered smoke alarms.
