We will perform a total of two soil borings on the proposed site. The borings will be advanced to a depth of feet below existing site grades, and will be located within the bounds of the private property. The borings will be drilled utilizing 4. 25-inch hollow stem, continuous flight augers and/or mud rotary drilling. The borings will be performed utilizing a truck or atv-mounted drill rig and will generate an approximate 6-inch annulus. After geotechnical exploration is completed, the borings/auger probes will be backfilled with bentonite slurry, which has a consistency of two pounds bentonite powder to one gallon water. Borehole/auger probe abandonment will be performed by tremie-grouting via a positive-displacement pump from the bottom of the borehole/auger probe.

Renovation of existing lowell school classroom building which will include new building systems, new windows and improved exterior. A 15,6 sq. Ft addition per z. C. Order no. 849c & z. C. Case no. 97-16b for lot 815 will include 2 new entrances, small theater, library and art classrooms.

We propose to perform a total of three borings utilizing 3. 25" augers that will be extended to 40below the existing site grades.

Site ground work for demo, grading and strom water

Esterior work at existing lowell school playground, extend existing retaining wall and move a portion of wall inward, decorative work remaining walls. Site esc and stromwater submitted under bciv1600098 swm #5165

A total of four 6-inch diameter soil test borings will be drilled using 2. 25-inch continuous hollow stem flight augers. The borings will extend to a maximum depth of 25 feet below current site grades. The samples will be containerized in glass jars for geotechnical classification and laboratory testing. The borings will be left open for a period of 24 hours to collect groundwater information. Pvc pipe will be installed into the holes at the completion of drilling. The pvc pipe will be capped to prevent runoff from entering the bore holes. After groundwater reading the boreholes will be grouted with bentonite slurry, 2 lbs of bentonite to 1 gallon of water, and the auger cuttings and all other investigation derived waste will be containerized in sealed drums per ddoe permit.
