Back deck has been built without permits. Date: April 12, 2016Permit type: Building code enforcement | Permit status: Open | Permit id: Bce2016-03394 | |||||
Permit request is for an existing deck that apparently needed a permit prior to construction. The deck is in two sections. East section is roughly 23 x 16. West section is roughly 41 x 12. Building materials include 2"x12"12 treated lumber and 2"x12"x16 treated lumber for the deck surface with 2"x6"x8 stringers and 6"x6" vertical and horizontal treated beams. In ground supports are 12" concrete footings extending 4 into the ground. Stringers are held by simpson hangers. Deck surface is secured with 3" screws. Vertical and horizontal beams are connected with simpson metal connectors for 6"x6" beams. Vertical posts are mounted and secured to simpson 6"x6" in concrete anchors. Railings are decorative metal sections anchored with screws. Attached drawings were made with sketch up software and are drawn to scale. Concrete footings are 4 deep and are roughly 8 apart. The drawings do not depict accurately the 4 depth of all footings. Date: November 8, 2016Permit status: In for review | Permit id: Bld2016-07515 |
