The project is a gut renovation and addition to two existing apartment buildings. The buildings currently do not have two legal means of egress so the buildings will be combined, allowing for each corridor to have two stairwells, and an elevator will be added. The project currently sits on both lots 47 and 48 which are to be combined by subdivision request. The basement will be further excavated to allow for an accessible means of egress and some functional common area, and an additional story will allow for more dwelling units to be added to the building. The building currently has units and will end up with 37 units. All existing units will be reconfigured as type a and type b units.
