A consulting arborist at seattle tree preservation said that because of the limited working space on riviera pl, it would be impossible to remove the tree from the water from the shoreside. As such, the tree will be removed from the waterside using a barge. The tree is currently attached by its roots to the shore. Leaving the tree in its current state poses a number of issues including potential liability and property damage.
