Commercial pool & pool deck

The contractor brought to our attention that during a field inspection a conflict was presented from the fire inspector regarding the protection of a window below a 2nd floor landing in a rated wall. It was requested that a solution be presented to bring this condition into compliance. This condition occurs at (6) locations per building. For purposes of bringing the window opening into compliance with the required rating we are presenting that series 6 fire shutter shall be installed on the interior side of the window. Modifications to the floor plan have including designation of this to be included into the previously approved construction documents.
