Remove existing cementious slate-type shingles within approximately 2-0" of parapet walls, to be preserved as possible and stored in a safe location until reinstallation,install one (1) layer of 30# felt underlayment as needed,install new galvanized ridge cap on rear-slope attic vent,install new 24 gauge galvanized flashing and counterflashing along roof and parapet,reinstall existing cementious slate-type shingles; any necessary replacement shingles to be natural (gray/green) slate with stainless steel nails (no copper). Reinstall existing concrete or ceramic v-groove ridge tiles. If necessary, install/repair mortar cap using vcc mortar formula and embedded stainless steel mesh (see attached detail). Note: trash chutes are required for removal of debris from all roofs all work must conform to standard vcc policies & guidelines permit does not allow for cap flashing on parapet or surrounding wallstorch-applied roofing is not permitted in the vieux carr.

To repair stucco as necessary using stucco prepared using the vieux carr commission recipe (below). To repair existing window lintel as necessary to match existing. To replace broken/missing glass in windows/doors as necessary to match existing. Glaze around window panes with glazing compound as necessary. After skin has formed on window glazing prime with an oil based primer and paint to match the existing window sash colorwhite, semigloss

To repair stucco walls and parapet mortar cap as necessary using stucco prepared using the vieux carr commission recipe (below). To replace existing window lintel as necessary to match existing above window on the burgundy elevation. To replace broken/missing glass in windows/doors as necessary to match existing. Glaze around window panes with window glazing compound as necessary (np-1 urethane based sealant not to be used as window glazing). After skin has formed on window glazing, prime with an oil based primer. To caulk perimeter voids of window/door openings as necessary. All work as per materials submitted 06/17/16 and stamped vcc approved 06/17/16.
