We aim to bring awareness to non-violent and progressive actions amongst the boston youth and general communities by coming together in great numbers to walk for peace during boston? S annual caribbean carnival parade. Leading up to this event it is traditional to host an event called a ? Band launch? To showcase the costumes and announce our theme prior to the parade. Our objective is to use this event to create an experience that the whole community can enjoy. We will combine our band launch event with a block party and provide a showcase as well as activities food and fun for the whole family and neighborhood!
