Drill 3 soil borings ( vt-02, vt-03, vt-04) in nps park land, adjacent to southern avenue. Area located north of valley terrace se, south of mississippi. Borings will have a diameter of 8-inches and will be drilled using hollow stem auger to a depth of feet.

We will perform five soil borings (b5, b9, b10, b11, b12) on the proposed site. One soil boring will be advanced to depths of feet and four soil borings will be advanced to a depth of 15 feet below the ground surface, respectively. We will also perform 4 auger probes (a9, a10, a11, a12) to a depth of feet below the ground surface. The borings/auger probes will be located within the bounds of the property. The borings/auger probes will be drilled utilizing 3. 25-inch hollow stem continuous flight augers. The borings/auger probes will be performed utilizing a truck-mounted drill rig and will generate an approximate 6-in annulus. After geotechnical exploration is complted, the borings/auger probes will be backfilled with bentonite slurry which has a consistency of two pounds bentonite powerto one gallon water. Borehole auger probe abandonment will be performed by tremie-grouting via a positive-displacement pump from the bottom of the borehole/auger probe.
