We will perform a total of six soil borings on the proposed site. Two borings will be advanced to a depth of feet below existing site grades. All borings will be located within the bounds of the private property. The borings will be drilled utilizing 4. 25-inch hollow stem, continuous flight augers and/or mud rotary drilling. The borings will be performed utilizing an atv-mounted drill rig and will generate an approximate 6-inch annulus. After geotechnical exploration is completed, the borings/auger probes will be backfilled with bentonite slurry, which has a consistency of two pounds bentonite powder to one gallon water. Borehole/auger probe abandonment will be performed by tremie-grouting via a positive-displacement pump from the bottom of the borehole/auger probe.
