We will perform a total of eight borings extended to feet below existing grades. The borings we be drilled utilizing 3. 25-inch hollow-stem, continuos- flight augers and will generate an approximately 6-inch annulus. After geotechnical exploration is completed, the boring will be backfilled with bentonite slurry, 2lbs bentonite powder to 1 gal water. Borehole abandonment will be performed by tremie- grouting via a positive displacement pump for the bottom of the borehole.
