A geoprobe will be used to drill up to (3) boring depth up to 35 feet, with 3 converted to temporary monitoring well to collect current soil and groundwater analytical data to develplment order of magnitude impact estimates for feasibility study. Soil boring diameter 3 inches. Soil samples obtained from split-spoon samplers will be placed in a labeled jar and screened with a photoionization detector - pid-. Soil borings not completed as temporary wells will be backfilled/abandoned within 24 hours of sampling using bentonite slurry 2 pound of bentonite to one gallon of water in accordance with ddoe guidance. Each temporary well will be completed with a bentonite seal from the top of the filter sand to the ground surface and the seal above the sand will consist of bentonite slurry, as per site plans, work plan report, dc well construction and schematic ddoe forms all work will be done under ddoe regulations.
