F&r will advance the soil borings to a depth of feet or auger refusal, whichever occurs first, utilizing hollow stem augers (hsa) drilling techniques. 3. 25 id hsa with an outer diameter of approximately 8 inches will be used. During the advancement of the borings, split spoon soil samples will be collected at every two feet in the upper ten feet and every five feet on-center thereafter.
