SCORE 64 41 Wisconsin Avenue Nw Washington Dc Wusa9 has contracted prospect solar, llc to construct a roof top solar array on the top of their headquarters at 41 wisconsin ave, nw dc. This project requires a crane to hoist the equipment to the roof. The crane will be located on upton street which is lined with trees. The crane has computer cables that communicate operations from the operator to the crane arm. The concern is that the cables will get caught in the trees and bring the entire operation to a standstill. Were requesting that ddot trim back the trees so that we are able to complete this work without concern. Thank you! SCORE 64 41 Wisconsin Avenue Nw Washington Dc Prospect solar has been contracted to install a photovoltaic solar array on the roof of wusa9s headquarters downtown. In order to build the system, a crane will be required to lift materials to the roof. The only option to place the crane is along upton st which is lined with pin oak trees. The concern is that the operational cables of the crane could become snagged within the branches of two of the trees along upton st. This permit is a request to allow us to have the trees pruned prior to our construction process. In speaking with the ward 3 arborist, evan anderson, he advised that it is possible for us to contract a licensed and certified arborist to prune the trees which would then retroactively be approved of by this permit.
