Recognizing that there are very limited seating options for patrons that wish to enjoy their lunch outdoors, we propose creating an outdoor breakroom that will feature tables, chairs, umbrellas, and additional trash receptacles in the open public space adjacent to the rear entrance to the federal building (6 independence ave. Sw) on the north side of the 6 block of maryland ave. Swbid will maintain all furnishings. Furnishings will remain in place overnight as a pilot project. This will be adjusted as needed.
