My back yard is fenced on three sides with a 6 ft flat board fence with no openings. Facing 5th street nw are gates nearly the height of the fence on either side of the house and a few feet of fence attaching to the house. This winter a huge leyland cypress fell and took most of the fence down on the side of the back yard that runs east-west on the south of the yard. It broke several of the posts, which had rotted at the base. I need to get fence on the on the south side only replaced and or repaired. This will include digging out and replacing old footers. We will salvage some boards to save for repairs but will use fresh posts and wood for the sections currently down. Note that the gates and fencing facing the street were not damaged and will not be replaced. The ft or so of fence to be replaced cannot be seen from the street. Its view is blocked by the gate and fence facing the street.
