Completion of four borings to feet with a three inches diameter using direct push technology for soil sampling. Three of the boreholes will be converted to monitoring wells for water sample collection. Each well will be both installed and abandoned per ddoe requirements. All soil that is removed from the boreholes will be placed in sealed drums sampling and disposal by a waste disposal contractor at proper facility. A mixture of 2 pounds of bentonite to one gallon of water will be used to fill each borehole using a tremie tube to within 6 inches of the ground surface. The remainder of the borehole will be filled concrete. A similar process will be implemented following removal of the temporary wells. Work will be conducted under ddoe regulation and per site plan, work plan report, dc well construction and schematic forms.
