SCORE 85 1352 Newton Street Ne Washington Dc I have already obtained a permit to build a driveway and have built the driveway. When obtaining the driveway permit i was not aware that the permit did not contain the curb cut approval stamp. Apparently, the driveway was approved without the stamp. I applied for a curb cut permit and it was rejected for the following reasons. After each reason for rejection, i supply how i have remedied it. (1) slope is too steep (12%) on the five feet of the drive way that is by the sidewalk and so on public space. It would be very expensive to rebuild the first five feet and i request that this be waived especially since changing the slope on the five feet would not increase traction or visibility in any way. However, if necessary i would agree to rebuild the first five feet to meet the requirement. (2) need a statement from zoning that the driveway is in compliance with the grade requirements. See (1) above. (3) plans do not show the driveway crossing the sidewalk. Score sidewalk in plans.
