This is a request to use decorative brick work instead of concrete for the sidewalk at the west side of dance place (which is now being renovated). The brick work will be a way to allow our patrons to be more fully involved with our construction process with lasting positive words engraved on the bricks. The brick work will be an excellent fund raising tool that will help us meet the additional costs to our project for permits and construction requirements necessary to acquire our pud and building permits. Patrons will be able to have the bricks inscribed with positive messages and names of people that are enthusiastic about dance places service and programs. Similar bricks are located in our neighborhood at the entrance of the brookland cua metro stop created by catholic university of america.
