SCORE 78 1119 Clifton Street Nw Washington Dc Due to public space and safety concerns, i am requesting permission to attach an existing wrought iron fence to a newly constructed stone retaining wall at my residence on 1119 clifton street, nw at the corner of clifton and 12th streets nw. The retaining wall and iron fence will serve both public space and public safety purposes. First, the stone retaining will prevent soil erosion and debris from washing down the hill onto the public space sidewalk, and second, attaching the existing 36 inch wrought iron fence atop the stone wall will keep my two dogs at bay from passersby. The stone wall and iron fence on the clifton street side of my property will be inches in height and set back from the sidewalk by approximately 8 feet. Due to the topography of the 12th st side, the wall and fence will range in height from inches to 66 inches. The iron fence wall always be 36 inches.
