1. The existing roofing will be inspected. Cap shingles will be removed to prepare home for recover. 2. Swamp cooler duct and large pipe will both be removed. 3. New drip metal will be installed at the roof edges. 4. New certainteed landmark architectural style asphalt shingles will be installed in accordance with manufacturers specifications. The new shingles will be fastened with six nails (not staples) per shingle for increased wind resistance. All nails to be galvanized, large-head, roofing nails. 5. New hip and ridge cap will be installed on hip and ridge lines. 6. Five new metal turtle vents will be installed on the home for proper ventilation. 7. New galvanized metal flashings will be installed on all pipes and vents that penetrate the roof. 8. All roofing debris will be removed from the premises and the job site will be left neat and clean.
