(i wouldnt recommend mechanically fastening the insulation or the membrane due to the noise and the mess that would be created by drilling into the concrete deck.) 4. Membrane will also be installed over the landing area of the stairs and will be terminated under the doorway. 5. Install base flashing around the base of the walls and terminate the membrane with a surface mounted counterflashing. 6. Install all the proper base flashings around all pipes and other penetrations as per the manufacturers recommendations. 7. Install a liquid flashing material around the base of the staircase. 8. Install new tpo coated scuppers. 9.
