Property owner would like to replace the failing walkway that leads from the residence to the sidewalk. The existing brick walkway has been damaged from tree roots and is failing. The replacement material will be concrete with a few additional steps added. The owner would also like to add a set of steps leading from the sidewalk to the curb for safe and level access to the street. The slope of the driveway can make it difficult to walk along during inclement weather. The steps will also be concrete. Any railings required to be installed per the building code requirements will need to match or complement the existing residence. There are several other properties along the same side of the street that have stairs accessing the street due to the change in elevation in this area.
