Construction staging area

A tree planting will take place within the building restriction line running the perimeter of the block starting at the corner of grant pl ne & parkside pl ne, going northwest to the arc corner of grant pl ne, over to the arc corner of burnham pl ne, down to the corner of burnham pl ne & parkside pl ne and across the block of parkside pl ne between grant pl and burnham pl. The lot, just under 1 acre in size, is currently vacant and is zoned for use as a community park within the parkside pud. The plantings will be the first landscaping associated with the new park. It will consist of 23 zelkova serrata street trees placed apart from one another. The street trees leave at least 45 sight line clearance from the corners. The zelkovas mature width is around 35, providing some canopy overlap. The zelkovas at the centerlines of the parcel are 25 on center to provide a gateway arch at the park entries.
