At their november 24, 2005 meeting the city of asheville board of adjustment approved a front setback variance of eight feet (8?) from the edge of the right-of-way (r-o-w) of new haw creek rd in lieu of the minimum required setback of twenty-five feet (25?) to allow the proposed home to be seventeen feet (17?) feet from the front setback (edge of right-of-way)and a right side setback variance of five feet (5?) from the right side property line in lieu of the minimum required side setback of ten (10)to allow the proposed home to be five feet (5?) from the side property line.
