Install 4 inch brick veneer on new concrete footing in front of existing masonry wall as per 2009 irc 703. 7. Maximum height: feet above foundation. Maximum thickness 5 inches. Window and door openings same size location. New concrete footing to be below frost line, ( inches). New wall shall be anchored to supporting wall with corrosion-resistant metal ties 24 inches on center horizontally and vertically. Provide 1 inch air space between walls. Provide weep holes and flashing above window and door openings. Provide capping, flashing and caulking at termination of wall to prevent water infiltration.
