06/04/2015: responded to complaint and went to site with joe chennault. Foundation is indeed in bad shape and chennault requires an engineers notice of corrective action before any repair work can proceed. Talked with owner, bob doom, and advised him of same and told him this info was needed post haste. Chennault has serious concerns about the integrity of the structure, and might require placarding as unsafe/dangerous building.; 06/08/2015: called doom from site this morning. Observed no work done on site. Doom related that he had "spoken with" brown consulting (harlow brown) and i was told by doom, "harlow says there is no danger of the structure failing..." i immediately called brown consulting and talked with jefferey brown, pe as to dooms statement.
